Creative Arts for All, Inc. (CAFA) is Queens’ Home for Community Arts.

Creative Arts for All, Inc. (CAFA), located at 70-03 Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood, Queens, is a multi-arts community program where alongside educators, artists, therapists and volunteers we provide outlets for creative iexpression.

Creativity is a positive catalyst for enhancing well-being for children and adults, and creative expression is an essential component of leading a Happy and Healthy Life.

Our program provides educational and artistic opportunities and resources to help everyone in our community engage in various aspects of creativity. We support people of all ages, regardless of their socioeconomic barriers. We nurture  artistic talents as well as assist those who struggle with emotional aspects of life. We support the Queens community by offering various social, recreational and cultural programs like:

  • Affordable studio space to educators and artists of every medium; promoting cultural growth and diversity of all art forms
  • Regularly scheduled children, adult and senior classes and workshops opportunities to everyone of every age, regardless of income level, race, national origin, sex or religion.
  • Present art exhibitions(students and professional artists)
  • Run an artistic Exposure Program offering special opportunities for kids and adults in our community who for many reasons would never experience trips to museums or concerts, etc.
  • Enhance well being through various programs. Implementing special programs for emotionally and physically challenged people as well as programs for seniors in our community.
  • Provide guidance and support for creative people in our community through association with other artists and craftspeople
  • Provide and maintain equipment for artists in a safe working environment
  • Participate in and create fundraisings. Partner with public schools and community organizations lacking funding for arts programming.
  • Provide a display retail outlet for Queens-based artists.
  • Founding CAFAs Scholarship Fund that would help small children,  youth and adults with financial need in our community to participate in studio classes, workshops, and camps and social events.

CAFA is supported by a group of dedicated artists, educators ,therapists and volunteers, led by Founder and Creative Director, Dr. Joanna Perich, PhD, ATR. We put our own time, finances,  forces and resources into the implementation of many projects. Due to the enormity of this undertaking, as an established 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization we are asking for help from established communities as well as corporate government and local political organizations. The support provided will enable the continued implementation of our initiatives and will be a great contribution to the development and future of CAFA as a valuable resource for the Queens Community. We will not be able to realize these initiatives without help from the community. At the same time, we ensure that the assistance provided to us will be used prudently and in accordance with the status of our Organization.
